I tried -x it said it failed to load some extension (org.tgwbd.driver.ACPIPS2Nub) and it after all was loaded it led me to the same old known blue screen :-S
i have the feeling the the system si working under but i cannot see the desktop

I have factory Dell Dimension 8400, onboard Broadcom 57XX (BCM5750 14E4 1677) lan, just wanted to let you know that I was able to get my lan work after doing a lot of reading. I am including the link for the file I uploaded. You can simply use the kext helper included with Leo4All. Once loaded, restart your computer and should be success! :)

Load Windows:

Start>Run> type "diskpart"

a. "list disk" Find the disk with the allocated space
b. "select disk <disk number with the allocated space>"
c. "create partition primary size=6600 id=af"
Now you have a partition ready to have the os x image copied on to it
You can change the sizse to whatever size you want the partition.

The device id of the video card is 024010de. I have searched the insanelymac before for alternative drivers. will try again.

With sound you should of course only install one driver. Try extracting the AC97 package from the DVD and installing it again.

What is the device ID or your video card? I have updated my drivers and want to be sure its in there. There are lots of custom Nvidia drivers at insanelymac, try one of them in the mean time.

1) LAN
The onboard LAN was not recognized initially. I then added the device id (0269) to Info.plist under forthdeph.kext. The driver was then loaded successfully. en0 showed up in "ifconfig". But I can't get any connection. DHCP failed to get IP address. Manually assigned IP did not work either. Any idea?

2) Sound
I loaded "AC97" and "RealTek 880" driver during installation. But still have no sound.

3) Video
The resolution is locked at 1024x768. no way to change resolution to 1280x768 as I have a wide screen. I selected "NVidia 10.5.2 Kexts" and "NVinject 128". Both loaded ok. I understand I had to remove NVDAResman.kext to get pass kernel panic. Is that the reason I don't get other resolutions?

My assumption is it is with the Customize settings before the install. I have tried disabling everything, I've tried adding all the necessary files on the instructions, tried just a few and not others, etc. I have tried burning the iso again with Nero at a slower speed.

1) downloaded and installed NVInstallerV.41.pkg
2) rebooted with -s
3) Using nano to edit GeForce.kext, NVDANV40Hal.kext, and NVDAResman.kext with the device id's as outlined in the link above
4) Rebooted….. bobs your uncle, fanny's your aunt, voila working nice nice new

I've read in various postings about this. I tried to apply the fix on the leo4all install disk and had no love. I also tried the IONetworkingFamily.kext by ToH and also no joy.

I'm sorry, I saw the previous screenshot didn't load anymore so I replaced it with another one.

So I'm into Leopard now. Great!
First things I noticed were the (sata) DVD drive wasn't recognized and LAN wasn't working.
That wasn't a surprise, since I hadn't checked off the corresponding drivers during the install.
So I've reinstalled with the Nforce test driver (for DVD drive) and forcedeth driver for LAN.
DVD drive is now working, but LAN is still down. Also noticed no audio (again no surprise since I didn't check this driver off in this 2nd install attempt).

I think I've seen posts related to this so I'll do search of the various forums.
If anyone can point out links with good guides to get LAN and audio working that would really help.
I'm very new to the Mac world, so my Windows troubleshooting skills aren't of much use now. =P

All those InterfaceNamer errors are LAN related, the IODeviceTree /Options are FireWire.

ok I can try to apply a different IONetworking.kext for instance from the V1 DVD , question is how can I do that, is there a way to grab that kext and extract it from DVD?

Ive burnt the dvd twice using 2 different pieces of software just to check it wasn't a burn error, but both time I boot into the dvd then format my harddrive to just 1 partition (160 GB), using the option of MBR. I then close disk utilities and click next on the installer then customize the install ticking quite a few of the options, the things I think I need for my hardware to work.

After ive ticked all them I click next on the install and it comes up with the checking dvd box (to check if there is any problems on the dvd), if I skip that or even if I leave it going, as it finished and then is about to start installing OSX it straight away comes up with and error of Could not install OSX restart and try again. Ive restarted and tried again many times and still no luck.

Anybody know anything I could try or anything I need to do to get OSX to install.

I've tried (w/o reinstalling) disabling the network in the bios (no firewire for me) as described in the account creation loop fix, but that didn't do it.

I'll try reinstalling leo4allv2 and then making the bios changes to see if that does it. I won't select any drivers except for the nForce chipset (If I don't, I get the "still waiting for root device" problem).
Will report back with the result.

Any other ideas & suggestions are most welcome.

also so you know I didn't have this issue with V1, maybe we can replace some kexts from the previous version ?

If I don`t choose x1600 on installation I can`t select the resolution even without QE.

Is there anything I can do? This card never gave me problems on Hackintosh.

Google turned up some users that ran into the same problem (but don't think they were using Leo4all). They seem to have gotten past it, but sadly, they didn't post how they did it. =(

Any suggestions much appreciated. Hate to give up on this now, especially after the hours of reading blogs to prepare for the install!

Also in the Connect to Server, gives error when I tried to connect to any of my http, or any other network drives i.e. smb://192.168.3.108 it gives error: 'The text entered doesn't appear to be a recognized URL format' even though its correctly entered.

Please help if there is any solution.
